Wooden fences have their classic charm, but in areas near the sea, they often fall victim to moisture and harsh weather conditions. This was exactly the case with this project of ours for a beautiful house in a golf complex near Kavarna.
The client had an old, rotten, and unstable wooden fence that no longer fulfilled either its aesthetic or protective function. The task of the BalchikBuild team was to replace it with a modern, long-lasting, and stable solution – a 15-meter fence (including a sliding gate) made of metal slats (panels) on a solid reinforced concrete foundation.
From demolition to final installation
To build a fence that doesn’t just look good but will also withstand time and strong winds, we went through the following stages:
Dismantling and clearing: The first step was to completely remove the compromised wooden structure and the old base, preparing the site for the new facility.
Strong reinforced concrete foundation: Unlike the old lightweight foundations, here we took an uncompromising approach. We excavated a new foundation, which we reinforced with strong rebar, and then poured a massive concrete base. This is the guarantee that the fence will not sag or tilt over the years.
Installation of metal panels: On the finished base, we installed a modern system of horizontal metal slats in an elegant dark color. This type of fence is highly preferred for its minimalist design and the fact that it requires almost no maintenance (repainting or varnishing) over time.
The Result: Low-maintenance aesthetics
The result is a beautiful and strong 10-meter fence and gate that completely transformed the boundaries of the property. The new fence fits perfectly into the modern exterior of the house, providing the necessary peace and privacy for the owners.
