The facade is the face of every home, but its primary role is to protect the building from harsh weather conditions, especially in coastal areas. In this project, a client from the Izgrev villa area near Balchik contacted us to complete the exterior of his house.
The building already had a first thin base coat of plaster applied, but it needed a professional finish to ensure the durability of the coating and a flawless appearance.
How did the work process go?
Finishing facades requires good logistics, proper preparation, and an experienced hand. The Balchik Build team approached the task with the following sequence:
Organization and Safety (Scaffolding Installation): To ensure seamless access to all levels of the two-story building and the gable under the roof, we erected stable facade scaffolding along the entire length of the house. This allowed us to work quickly, safely, and efficiently across the entire wall area.
Leveling and Strength (Second Coat of Plaster): On top of the existing thin base, our craftsmen precisely applied a second coat of plaster. This step is critically important for creating a perfectly level, strong, and homogeneous base to receive the final coating.
Final Touch (Mineral Render): After the plaster dried, we proceeded with the application of high-quality mineral render. It seals the facade, protects it from moisture and cracking, while allowing the walls to “breathe” and adding a beautiful texture to the exterior.
The Result: A Protected and Beautiful House
Thanks to following the correct technology and quality execution, the house in the Izgrev villa area now has a completely finished, protected, and aesthetically pleasing facade, ready to withstand the variable weather by the sea.
